Despite feeling uncertain about the rain on the morning of the race, Bezzecchi displayed great confidence throughout the race.

Bezzecchi’s self-assurance finally paid off as he won his first premier MotoGP race with an overall time of 0:44:28.518 at the wet 2023 Argentine circuit.
With 34 points earned, he now leads the championship standings with 50 points, leaving second-place contender and reigning world champion F. Bagnaia with 41 points. Bagnaia crashed while in second place, with only 8 laps remaining in the race.
